Breathe

Breathe

A Poem by Savior of Time

Breathe,

You have your whole life ahead of you,

Don’t be afraid of the future,

Live in the present,

And walk away from the past,

There is happiness there,

Yes, I understand,

But you can’t keep living,

In that fantasy world,

It’s time to move on,

But don’t run too far,

For you might end up

In a place you don’t need to be,

Keep the memories close to your heart,

Leave the negative in the dust,

You can run,

If you feel the need to,

But make you stop for a minute,

And walk the extra mile,

This can really help you in the long run,

It’ll be the time,

For you to think about what may happen next,

Or for you to reflect upon what has happened,

In the past couple days,

I know you’ll have those days,

That you just want to shut everyone out,

And scream at the world,

But all that is happening,

Is that you’re having a bad day,

Not a bad life,

So don’t go and waste it,

Or do something that will cause pain,

Upon you,

Or someone else,

One you love or one you hate,

Because that won’t help you at all,

Nothing will get better,

Nothing at all,

So just remember,

Keep moving forward,

You can look back on the memories,

But make sure not to go back to them,

Except for a look-see,

And head down,

Your long road
