As have I

As have I

A Poem by willweb

Has the dawn ever seen your eyes,

glowing in dreamscape whispers,

feathered by soft morning breezes,

enticing daylight wishes

& hot coffee desires,

reflecting in a winter’s sunrise

while bed sheet & flannel

affections warm you…

as have I

Note: The first line of this poem is the first lyric sung on Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Tarkus. Listened last week, had the line stuck in my head and had to use it somehow.

i was just talking to my son about them .. and how Emerson was a levitation mystic ;) http://youtu.be/uSm5IQFaTZA

i was up early and let the dog out and while waiting for the princess to finish her morning ablutions .. the clouds were parted enough to allow a few stars through ... the dawn still hasn't arrived but your poem inspires me .. not to miss it!
and to appreciate the warm flannel affections that i just heard getting out of bed :) .. very enjoyable poem

It's passion in the evening, love through the night, but in the morning it's heartwarming to see that it's not a dream. :) Rudi
