Five Simple Letters

You are made of five letters...

Five letters which fill my world with glee.
Five simple letters that make me laugh.
Five lovely letters that keep me straight,
Looking up instead of down
When all I want is to give up.

You are like a rock in a stormful sea,
You are a pillar that holds my world,
You were and still are,
What is most dear to me.

One pat on the head and BAM
All anger flies out the door
There's no space for angst
When you hug me close.

So this poem is for you, even if you might not know,
You are the best five letters that I wish to keep close.
