The Dragon's Rage

The Dragon's Rage

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome
"

Just one of several poems i wrote that deal with dragons.

"

So said the ancient sage,
Beware the dragon’s rage.

Unless you are a mage,
With powers hidden deep,
Beware the dragon’s rage.

A strength you cannot gauge,
By any mortal means,
Beware the dragon’s rage.

To large for any cage,
It cannot be contained,
Beware the dragon’s rage.

To reach a ripe, old age,
Heed what the legends say,
Beware the dragon’s rage.

Someday will a battle wage,
Fueled by the dragon’s rage.

I think we'd better beware the dragon's rage! Like the rhyming through this piece and the story within the poem.
