The Dragon's Lair

The Dragon's Lair

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome
"

Another of my Dragon poems.

"

Captive is the maiden fair,
Inside the dragon's lair.

Who amongst us dare,
Attempt to venture,
Inside the dragon's lair.

Climb a hidden stair,
Now, go brave soul,
Inside the dragon's lair.

The walls are bare,
The light is dim,
Inside the dragon's lair.

A malevolent glare,
A snap of jaws,
Inside the dragon's lair.

Trespassers must beware,
Inside the dragon's lair.
