Don't Lose Your Grip

Don't Lose Your Grip

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

On the edge you trip,
Don't lose your grip.

Rocks your knuckles clip,
Feet scrambling for a ledge,
Don't lose your grip.

Your hands begin to slip,
Bruised and cut they are,
Don't lose your grip.

You feel tendons rip,
You can't take much more,
Don't lose your grip.

The odds begin to tip,
In favor of the cliff,
Don't lose your grip.

Landing on a stony lip,
You can release your grip.

Suspenseful! I like it.

The repetition is a little distracting but I like the piece overall. It does get the point across of hanging in there till you get your footing. Good job.
