CagesA Poem by Charlie McEwan
Trading one cage for another
Was never my intention A life without love Is the one I've found Love for myself or love for others Is a foreign concept One that confounds; And confuses me in ways untold I thought everything would be ok But I was wrong and to live with it Everyday Leaves me crushed and crumbling On my knees gasping for breathe Quite often I still find myself Praying for death. © 2014 Charlie McEwanFeatured Review
