Distant Memory

Distant Memory

A Poem by Lala

The distance that used to separate
Your existence from mine
Became a very thin line
When our hearts decided to intertwine
When we set foot on cloud nine
The distance between us somehow
Became nothing but a distant memory now

i like this
short, concise, descriptive
great wordplay
especially liked this line,
"When we set foot on cloud nine"
a wonderful little ode to the
narrowing of the distance between two
whose fate it was to be together
nice write
