Seasonal Feelings

First it was Winter

Our feelings were cold

Your heart wanted to be alone

I viewed mine as no one's to hold

Then it was Spring

Our feelings were born

It blossomed like a rose

With every petal and every thorn

When it became Summer

Our feelings fluttered

Butterflies in our stomach

We were each other's lover

But then it turned Autumn

Your feelings hit rock bottom

Like the leafs from the trees

You fell out of love with me

I know you had more than one reason

But whilst you stepped back into Winter

I never left our Summer season
