Traveling The Noon-lit Road

Traveling The Noon-lit Road

A Poem by Outdated Account

They walk the path
Alight to see
At either eve'n hour,
With cobbled stones
That shine just as bright
By either luminent power.

The sun or moon
At perfect apex,
Reflecting purity,
Guides the traveler on;
Pushing forward as it
Gleams up to eternity.

The path will yet be winding
And the light soon lose its sheen
But passing hours will guide you
And never take you where you've been.

Ahhh as a bit of a nomadic traveller myself I loved this. I smiled at the end - it reminded me of all the dreams and possibilities that come to life when walking free. Love it X
