Calling all Horse Lovers!

A horse themed poem

Calling all Horse Lovers,
Wide and far.
I'll give you some food for thought:

Your horse cannot ask if he can stop.
He cannot tell you when he is hungry
or thristy.
Your horse cannot run forever.
He cannot win every contest.

Horses were built for love.
Not for abuse.

Don't take advantage of him.

Don't blame him for his mistakes.

But do care for him with all your heart.

i LOVE this poem! i am a big lover of horses myself, so i really enjoyed this poem to the utmost. i like how you pointed out that horses were "built for love." the last line was so beautiful and so moving. i don't have a horse, but if i get one, i'll make sure to care for him with all my heart! great work, this poem is simply amazing! :)

Good poem :) Great rhythm and word choice. I feel the first stanze needs...powerfulising. A powerful start helps the rest stick out.
