April fool

April fool

A Poem by

Unfair is what I call it when she,
Gets so much more than me.
$50.00 for her birthday in a card for her,
So I took it and hid it, thats for sure.
Up, down, to the side of,
She even looked over and above.
She walked in a puddle with a sad heart,
Not very wise or smart.
For if she had looked under her shoe she would have found,
A taped fifty dollar bill and pounded me to the ground.
But too bad for her I got a good laugh,
as she ruined her present on a wet, wet path.
Mom just looked at me in awe,
As I told her this with her wide open jaw.
I looked down on the ground then looked and said don't fear,
Happy April fools day mom, and don't believe everything you hear!!!

Super surprizing problem resulution. This is a cute story poem. Its got real possibility. Needs just a little work on filler words and phases. In general quite good.
