When Will You Realize?

Bad title, good work?

Why don't we make a story?

Only the two of us will know.

I wonder if we'll live forever,

stay together, or die alone?

I wonder when you'll finally wake up,

and realize that all you see,

is just a little fantasy created by only me.

I wonder when you'll realize that I'm not really here.

For my heart is trapped in silence,

it's to much pain living here.

I wonder when you'll realize,

that I'll only let you down.

Like every other person,

who has said they'll always be around.

I wonder when I'll break your silly little heart.

Because my feelings aren't my feelings,

 even when it's from the start.

One day you'll wake up and realize that this isn't true.

And that everything we've created,

 was only done by you.

Because my hearts not in it,

and you know its true.

There was no one i was meant for,

I was always meant to lose.

Forever by nobody side's,

I shall stand proud and tall.

Because feeling nothing from no one,

would be the greatest gift of all.

No expectations to hold up.

And no more lies to tell.

For i wouldn't let anyone down ever again.

So i wish that this story truly could end well.

But the secret truth of that is,

it will be only yours to tell.

So let's make our story,

and see how it unfolds.

The first one to fall in love,

 will have the losing hand.

Because the best way to not get your heart broken,

is to pretend that its not there.

Wow, I can really relate to this one. But not for love, but a different kind of relationship. Well done. I would title this "When You Realize", that seems to be more fitting.

i like this a lot. i know how you feel, i have lots of mixed feeling right now too- but mixed feelings make awesome poetry

Seems quite self- defetist. Though I do like quite a lot of the imagery in here, and it has a lasting emotional impact. It really gets me, at the least, to think.
