Deceived

Deceived

A Poem by
"

Don;t trust everyone?

"
Don’t be deceived,
By the gaze in his eyes.
Don’t be deceived,
By the glint in his smile.

You’re just a little girl,
Wandering the world,
Looking for someone,
Someone who loves you,
But don’t let it be him

All he’ll do-
Is play with your heart
You’ll think he loves you
But then he’ll throw you away
Like a worthless piece of trash

So don’t be deceived.
By the gentleness of his hands
Don’t be deceived,
By what he says are his intentions
Don’t be deceived.

This was sooo good! I love your writing. My favorite part was the third stanza. It had so much adoration, but hate wrapped up inside it. Great job.
