Where does love grow?

On top? where I breathe thin air

And where days will turn into light

For I will be there

 

O' great lover of yester years

What of you shall become?

If time of years dances

On your rough edges

And peace always will deform

 

Icy foam sloshing against

The sharp forms of your vast corpo

Cut shapes by centuries

Still it hurts from ages ago

 

So fresh you are onto knees high in;

The voice of the golden glacier stream

Crossing you slowly, passing you by

Where each era I sing to you

A tiny lovers scream

Far away from home.... and I was hiking, and got inspiration...

This is refreshing! Oh how I love the mountains...it breathes new life in the lungs.The beauty inhaled is good for the soul, washing away pain to cleanse the mind.
This is sheer Perfection!

Thank you so much R. I was not in the mountains though, as we don't have them pity enough, but it says enough of my yearning... I do love to climb and walk them. Through Spain I was though.... just for a moment. "the pyrenees" are beautiful. Hugs and much love xxxxx

The heart ruminates of what it knows and people we have loved, but the higher love encompasses all these things and something more, I like this write, it's as if where our loves in the past enables us to see the transcendent love, mostly I felt this however in the 1st stanza.

Thank you for your thoughts dear sister, but I must say, that it wasn't hihi.... I was just hiking and saw hills with moorland, as we have that so much here, and I visualized the mountains, and the yearning of climbing a real mountain once in my life, next to that I saw a stream, and i felt their connection. No, I'm more than happy with the love I have for 13 years but indeed it could be interpret as you did... lovely anyway sweetheart Xx

wow, Elisa, that makes this poem even better..because it really relates to the speaker actually being there and experiencing what is in the poem...so much so that the reader can experience it as well.
