~ Air

I flew over high mountains,

I could paint so many landscapes

With my eyes, looking down

On the seas and fields

The sun in me, warmed my soul

The wind was kind, and gentle

You were everything inside of me

My beloved air

You were the space,

Everything around me,

Nothing more than air,

For my blood, lungs and heart

For you I lived, without awareness

So dreaming and thinking the sky

I found myself in you,

And you my large cloud

My wave of passion

The storm of my core,

Mingled with me in our skies

My air, and I

I'm taking another read.

"My wave of passion

The storm of my core,"

Seems to stick with me. This foundation is what creates the person of tomorrow. Think about it. With no passion comes no ambition. It is something you can't explain, it's just something you have to do. Good read.

Gorgeous evocations of the seasons and elements here sis. You've truly captured my imagination with this piece. Our eyes are great artists...they paint the world before us, and we are free to add whatever colours to it that we wish. The notion of a loved one as the air itself is particularly powerful...when love is at its best, it's almost as though we forget to breathe, for the company of one's love is all that is needed to survive within the elements. Gorgeous work as always my sweet friend :) xoxo

Thanks for the visit :)
My air and I -- what a beautiful ending.

This is one of those ethereal pieces that sways like leaves on a tree during a blustery day. All blue skies and cerebral imaginings wrapped neatly into a package that came off as quite remarkable. Missed your writes, my friend.

Your intro here just blew me away!!! And it lead to more amazing words! This poem 'Air' definetly has the feeling of flying.

This is beautifully romantic, with none of the constraints or impediments of "earthly" love. It's more pure than that, the love of "air", of nature, in this piece. Reading it, I truly felt as if I was in the sky, weightless as a cloud. It is like, as you say in the poem, a dream.

A wonderful piece.

You're very welcome, Elisa.
My air and I...of my...I felt I could fly.

Without any reason why...I wanted to cry.

I'm so glad that the weight has momentarily lifted from your physical self. You are an angel with wings.
