"

...Look, and thou shalt see...

"

~ Mirrored

Sheer reflection seen, in the distance,

Eyes wide open, wings spread wide

You saw me coming,

         From a thousand spring times,

                   Waiting there down the river,

I never believed, I could be alive again,

To breathe after so many lifetimes, of death~

But you gave me the hope,

To kill this purgatory

Where I’d wait for hell, too long,

Now in this realm, it all starts, whilst I’m gone

And so you will live, be there,

All with a drop of silence

    Mirrored through me, with me

Welcome to Elysion, my love,

           Feel at home…

It might feel as if looking into a mirror whilst looking into another's eyes and seeing their soul. There is similarity, yet a divergence, certain parts of opposition that come together to create completion, unison, and it is most powerful. You blend colors in the chamber of the heart. It is there forever, the entrance to your infinite land of Elysion, always accessible, and a shared home, ever reaching for the ones you love.. The whole time, I sensed the journey of a butterfly, a revival, and so a new beginning. It's as if someone showed the way, but it truly starts with one's own strength of mind, or heart.. I feel embraced every time I come here. It's just that vibe of yours.. xx

This piece is so brilliant, and so full of a dreams! I love the way your works sound, from one side they hold sadness, which stay inside and locked and untold, as mystery..from another side they are always directed to the higher views and higher spheres of mind, to dreams and surreal places. I feel all that here, in very peaceful light. The mirror is a door to another world, to magic and underwater, to another universe, where we expect to be our real "selves". And you bring that feeling in excellent way, dear Eli!

Welcome home a new place to roam. Peaceful and pure loving even know time stood still. What a beautiful mind you have coming up with such beauty in poetry I loved it very much. Nice piece.

"Welcome to Elysion my love"- sweet yet precautionary warning.I have sa thing for greek mythology and they way you have created this mystic winged character is great. The thousand lifetimes of death - i liked the oxtmoron there.Very nicely portraying her patience. The irony of the poem is he enters the realm and she leaves it.Now he will be the one mirrored in her.I have become a die- heart fan of yours Elisa. :)

Thank you kindly my dear friend, for your visit and time, I so appreciate it. :)
I felt as if I had just danced with you, hand in hand, simply by reading this piece. That is,in my humble opinion, the mark of true poetry. To create such a vivid feeling in the mind of the reader, that they felt as if they where somehow lifted off the page and into your world of thought and wonder. What fanastic penning and a stunning write Elisa.

Its a gorgeous piece, the appearance is quite lovely and the words a whole other matter itself. I got the impression of looking into someone else, someone who has completed you and taught you that you are worth it. Teaching you to live and breathe after a 'lifetime of deaths.' Its as though someone got lost among the way and then something slowly brought them back to the trail. Your poem makes me feel as though everything will be alright for some odd reason. Its a great read :)
