Discovery

A Poem by
"

Brace yourself, hold onto all you've lost...for the winds will carry you away quite a distance, and replace all your emptiness with song.

"
Unsure of what to do
I'm always left clueless
Your touch is intoxicating
And I'm longing for its caress.

I'm aware of your magic
Yet I still confront it
My thoughts always
Lingering with yours
I can taste the passion.

My veins are trickling
With the sensation you bring
Flooding my body immediately
I'm walking on the waters, the sea.

The bright streams of peace
Start to shadow me hazily
The intimacy of our understanding
I sob at the feeling
I've been deprived of hope
For so long...

The winds carry me miles
Whispering reassurance
Promising to never leave me
I have never encountered
Such a heartwarming scene

Your tantalizing thrumming
On my bare skin
It leaves me forever heated
I grasp onto your pride and soul
Admiring its features

I want to share all my stories
To spill them all at once
Because I finally
Have someone to love.

The words are true and beautiful in the poem. When we are overtook by love and desire. Memories allow us to feel peace with a separation. I like the complete poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.

This is really beautiful. And I definitely get the sense of friendship and enchantment as you mentioned in your note. The imagery just captures my imagination so much; particularly the ideas with water and wind. That flows together really nicely. The sense of belonging in this poem is gorgeous as well. Really lovely writing!
