BREATHE WITH ME

BREATHE WITH ME

A Poem by M. L. F.

 Shadows of Sunlight....
..a shroud on a ghost
    underneath the horizon..
A stone.
The sun has gone down like a phoenix..
.... the rain drops..
      ...I shiver..
                                    ...Breath trickles
                                     ...Down slow
  It slips..
to a pace no one yet comprehends
   ..unraveling all self control
   So breathe with me..
..Slow..
Take me down to that place
 where our subconscious thoughts
wed our souls..

    Please show me....
.. SO lovely..
   ...that stare full of grace..
       that penetrates, Stoic and cold..
How you don't know what you do..
                            ...persuasive like voodoo
 that pulses down..
                   .... yearnings unfold.

I'll never.. regret this...
           ....all the time spent, invested...
 ... in learning...
                                ....the map to your soul

                      Outside it's still raining...
                 ... yet I'm ...
               not complaining..
I'm viscous like oil...
       Take me home.....

It is soul-stirring how your words and thoughts flow like vibrant waters. There are divine pathways to twin flame vibrations that resound in these stormy cloud journeys, and your wishes for Home awaken everything beautiful in the rainfall resonance. Love INFJ inspirations. xo

I love the way your words trickle down the page, with images of cold and damp set against feelings of comfort and the nestling of souls... The last thought 'I am viscous like oil' is profoundly sensual...a willing gift...

This is a mesmerizing piece, I must say.

"Shadows of Sunlight....
..a shroud on a ghost
underneath the horizon..
A stone.
The sun has gone down like my Phoenix"

Beautiful as it can be.

Good love poem about two souls finding one another. Really like the Title too.

"I'm viscose like oil" should be "I'm viscous like oil" though. Sorry, I'm a wee bit obsessive concerning spelling. ;P

Well Mrs. Franchello I think this was a very nice read, I like the phoenix in there how it falls but rises, tell me something:

"underneath the horizon..
A stone."

Are you referring to the Sun? If so, bravo, I like that, if not, then what? Thanks

This is superb! Sometimes we really don't regret what we did if only for a certain time period.. I loved reading this! It does have a seductive touch to it too, I think 😉
