My Summer Dream

My Summer Dream

A Poem by Alexzandera

The field stretches out

reaching for the hills

for the barns

The tan grass flows with the gentle breeze

calling to me

A pink haze clouds the landscape

reflects off the lake

a dreamcatcher dangles

from the rearview mirror

feathers pointing softly

to the floor

catching the landscape

that stretches before me

and creating it

into my summer dream
