No One is SafeA Poem by ToriEvery shadow holds it own secret....
No Other night I am visible,
No other night do I blend,
No other night emits the feeling,
that the horror will never end.
My desperate hunger,
is ignored,
my sadistic ways,
are all adored.
Emergin form the shadows,
no one seems to care,
Where I was once feared,
No one knows I'm there.
Blood dripping from my lips,
raises no further question,
people think it fun,
when they do not see my reflection.
No other night,
Keeps my secrets at bay,
Soon the dawn will come,
exposing me to the day.
But until then I thirst,
I am never second guessed.
My pale skin poses no threat,
It abids to the terror seekers request.
Any other night
Would I reveal my self to others,
Children would run in terror,
desperate families would close the shutters.
The limp corpse that drags
motionless behind me,
some find it entertaining,
while the rest do not even mind me.
So go ahead and scream,
Everyone will hear,
though all will think it fun,
They will not help you, my dear.
No other moon rising hides,
all my wicked ways,
on this sacred night,
No one is safe.
