As the sunshine fades away behind the hills

I sit in the darkness waiting for the end…

The end of time

The end of my pain, suffering and heartache

Can no one hear my pleads?

Can no one hear me screaming?

I feel alone…

Trapped in my dark, cold self

All I have are my thoughts

No one can save me now…

As time passes the darkness doesn’t seen so dark

The bitter cold more warm…

One day I will escape….

Escape this hell I have created within myself

And when the time comes

When my human life ends…

My soul will linger in the darkness trying to escape

Trying to be freed of this bitterness and be happy

And the ghost of my former self…

Shall rot in the shadows of my lies and deceits

For the rest of eternity
