A White Rose

A White Rose

A Poem by Xander West

Beauty rendering all to a hush,
Yet as sweet as an innocent blush,
Petals as soft as silk to my touch,
Upon her beauty I adore simply too much,
Petals as white as the clouds floating above,
Such a rose we all seek to humbly love,
A white rose of flawless perfection,
Upon her I shower adoring affection,
Hoping to hold close a beauty so true,
A blooming white rose such as you.

It's hard getting back into writing after a long absence. The best advice I could give is to simply ride it out. It will come back to you, trust me. Looking forward to reading more. Good to meet you, Xander. And welcome back!

Interesting first read of yours.
Enjoyed the read.
Funny because I just posted a poem called Ruby Red Blush and although different... in some ways is the same.
if you have the time perhaps you might want to take a look.

Welcome back to the fold Xander, from what I just read, the world's a better space for you having found your passion once more. Can't wait to see what lies beneath the surface

I like this poem! I like the way you described the woman as a white rose, so cute but in so few words. Well written poem! 100/100
