Wondering in front of my home

Wondering in front of my home

A Poem by James L.

Wondering in front of my home

A great guest out of quincedence

Well rounded

And all sparkly inside

I saw you stare me down

From the minute I walked out the door

Dirty from time

But you seem timeless...

But before

electric shrieks down my spine

I'll put you in line

I'll knock you around

Then I will catch you again

As if it were the first time we met

bounce you up and down

Knock you all around

I stare at you

I look up to the skies of blue

Who did you belong to

Who made you a fool...

So the

Electric shrieks down my spine

Throw you around the world

Now someone else will see you

and take it as a sign...

Today I walked out

I saw you stare me down

From the minute I walked out the door

Who did you belong to

Before it was I that you knew...

Dirty from time

But So timeless...

Author's Note

James L.
It's about a small bouncy ball. I saw it 2 years ago(picture memory). and I threw it very far, down a hill... today I found it in front of my yard. I wont go as far as to say it was in the same spot.

I like how the poem comes full circle. What a strange story, but a marvelous poem came out of it.
