Breakup poem

You said you'd be by my side
and never break my heart
But i cant count how many times
we've given us a fresh start

But it never does any good
I'm still feelin this way
I never thought anyone else
could take my baby away

Don't think i forget the times
Your stood by my side
you were even here for me
when my grand pap died

i did everything i could
just to show you my love
but you never really cared
when push came to shove.

I miss back when
everything was great
We could spend time together
Without one complaint.

Now everyday together
is nothing but hell
if i meant a damn thing to you
well i couldn't tell .
