Chapter 3A Chapter by ♪Kinnixk ♫Trinity's POV. Enjoy.A wet cloth is placed on my forehead and cold water seeps down the side of my face. I hear another’s breathing but no heartbeat. A hand cups my cheek and my eyes flash open to reveal a woman’s profile no older than the age of eighteen. Her sympathetic blue eyes warily watch me. Dark red locks were mounted on the top of her head with a couple strands poked out here and there. In half a second I twist off the cot and stand in a defensive position as a quiet roar tears out of my throat. The lady stands and I see she wore a plain brown and white dress and a small black shawl sat around her shoulders. Her hands were held up in the air to show that she meant no harm. “I didn’t mean to scare you,” her honest voice ringing in my ears. She steps toward me. I hesitantly stand up straight and watch her suspiciously. She sighs for some reason. “You look so much like her,” she breathes. I find my voice, “Like who?” She smiles at me. “Abby.” Obviously she said it in a way she thought that I knew the name; that I would recognize and scream in delight or fury or something. “Abby,” she repeats. I still don’t respond. Her expression falters a bit and I blink. “Should I know her?” “Yes. She’s your family. Your last name is Colby, correct?” “That depends on which name you’re referring to.” I had used a couple of different names in the past just to cover my tracks from the cops. “You are of royal blood. You belong here.” I shake my head after a minute, “Lady I don’t know what the hell you’re on, but I know for a fact that I don’t have any royal blood in me. I’m leaving.” “But Milady-“ “Don’t call me that,” I snap coldly. I felt a slight tug of guilt when I yelled at the woman who only wanted to help me; that is if she was trying to help me. The wooden door opens and a young blonde-haired boy shoves his head in. “What’s going on in ‘ere?” he asks sleepily. He rubs his eyes and notices me and his expression lights up tremendously. “Oh, you’re awake! Should I get my master Emily?” “No. Don’t wake him; you know how Zach gets.” The redhead said. Zach. My brain clicks and my rage only doubles. Snarling, I grab the boy’s hair and yank him to me. He cries out in pain as I hold him in a tight headlock. “Where is he?” I growl. “Emily!” he gasps. “Trinity stop it! That’s my brother!” I release my hold on the boy in shock. He drops to the cobblestone floor and wheezes for air. Emily helps him to his feet while I step back against the wall. How did she know my name? My full name; the name I had not spoken out in centuries. “Let me go,” my voice is low and deadly, stronger than I thought it would sound. “I can’t do that,” Emily said. “Em, I got her. You take care of your brother,” a male looking about my age walks in and situates himself against the opposite wall. Emily nods in gratitude and they are gone in less than fifteen seconds.
I stare at him from my position and recognize him, “So you’re that
a*****e. You lurked on my territory and you freaking kidnapped me idiot.” He snorts, “I do not lurk, thank you very much. As for the kidnapping, I had orders from Abby herself.” “Okay; who is this Abby chick?!” I scream out in rage. “What’s so freaking important about her?!” “She is a Royal; she has royal blood. One of the most feared and loved of our kind.” I was so close to punching him in the face. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” He smirks. “Get out of my head,” I snarl.
But it’s so much fun p*ssing you
off. “I warn you…” You
actually like being a rebel? How did you survive all this time? “I’m going to kill you…” Your
mind is so easy to read; did you know that? I lunge for his throat. He expected me to and was ready. At the last second, right as my clawed hands reached his neck; I thrust my knee upward as hard as I could. He lets out a pained cry as my knee hits target. I step back and he falls on the ground clutching his manhood. It was meant to hurt him; I used all my strength.
I laugh mentally and I know he can hear me. And they say women can’t fight for themselves. Zach gasps but doesn’t retaliate. My survival reflexes spring up and I go yank open the door to see Emily standing there with another syringe in her delicate hand. I back away immediately and snarl loudly at her in warning. If I had been a werewolf my ears would be nonexistent; they would be stitched against my head and my lips would’ve curled back to show razor-sharp fangs. “Get that thing anywhere near me,” I hiss and take a defensive position, “And I will gladly rip off your head.” Her eyes flicker to Zach who leaned on the wall, breathing heavily with one hand still over his jeans. She laughs at him, “Wow, how did she do that Zachary?” He snarls at her and stands up, “It’s not funny if you get kicked there. Hurts like a-“he groans. I was backed in the corner away from the two of them. I know I kicked him hard but seriously suck it up. I’m not that strong. At least, I shouldn’t be. Emily blurs and her free hand grabs my arm and pulls it out. The needle sinks into my arm and again my world pulses to black. © 2012 ♪Kinnixk ♫Reviews
