You Might Disappear/Circles

You Might Disappear/Circles

A Poem by Adora.xo
"

Bleh

"

If you could be anywhere,

You said if you could          fly       away

You’d find our forever,

And

We would

Live

Every

Day,

Without a thought for anyone,

Just you

Just me

Just the sky

And the green…

But here we are,

You’re lost and I

Can’t     catch     you.

Our dreams look like dust

And your words don’t taste so true

Anymore…

You’re holding the wrong hand,

You’re whispering hopes that I fear,

Your eyes are                foggy

And I know…

I won’t find

my fountain of youth

here.

But I can’t

look

away,

I can’t watch you

Disappear

Again...

A very sad and good story in the poem.
"Just you
Just me
Just the sky
And the green…"
Old memories become more deadly when they become far away. I like the above lines. Best days of a life is when two people are content with each other. It was sad when dreams fade away and leave us with nothing. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
