Soaring

Soaring

A Poem by Emm'here
"

I love you.

"
You may think you're nothing,
but let me tell you something,
you seem quite good to me.
You got the wings of an eagle
to soar to great heights,
ignore looking down at me.
You have the eyes of a pearl,
always looking at her,
but I can see from far away.
So let me just say
that from where I stay,
you already won my heart
from a glance to the side,
a wave while passing by,
what more is there to say?
He reminds me of me
in some twisted way,
by his acceptance and presence
always lighting up the whole room.
My heart skips a beat
every time we meet,
while our eyes dance around the room.
Having the silent conversations,
happy no one's listening,
knowing that you'd be screwed.
You may not give a s**t about what I say,
but whenever your away,
I tend to die a little bit.
"Don't," you'll say
as you dry my tears away,
holding me close to you.
Which is why I am surprised,
that it's all so sudden for you,
that's making my dreams come true.

Emm'here
You don't know that when I say, "I love you," I mean it more than you dare to imagine.
