Immortal Butterfly

Immortal Butterfly

A Poem by Blossom
"

we've seen the same things... in so many different forms

"

I’m looking for an immortal butterfly

It is exactly like the names suggests

A butterfly that will never die

A butterfly that defies time

Its transparent wings…

Don’t sparkle or shine

It quietly lives

Deceiving human eyes

Changing its colors throughout time

Many don’t realize that they’ve the same butterfly

But I don’t think that this deceitful little wonder

Has anything to do with immortality

This little butterfly

Is such a rarity

This immortal butterfly

is actually a fairy
