He Fell In Love With A ...

He Fell In Love With A ...

A Poem by Yahallo

I love you but I can not have you.

When she first passed him by
He thought he had seen an angel fly
Long blond hair
Strong as a lioness
Innocent as a lamb
She never asked to be a goddess
He knows
And it does feel wrong
To love someone so long
To make her his living idol
A bubbly a cheerful girl
A tough a confused boy
He had two birthdays
When he was born
And when he met that girl
She melted snow in winter
She watered life in spring
She was a shade in summer
She painted nature in autumn
He wanted to marry that woman
Best friends
But something more
He loved the fire in her eyes
When talking about life
Heaven love angels God
The day
She had to say something
He wanted to
Get down on his knee
Diamond ring in pocket
He went to Church
So peaceful
So holy
And he saw her too
Smile illuminated by sun
The he realized
He fell in love with a nun
