You Will

A poem about believing in you.

"You Will"

Looking out over the ocean

with its depths and its waves

choppy waters, salt, and sharks

an ocean vast and harsh

But you don't need a lifeboat

or any floating device

when life shoves you into those waters

trust me, you will survive

Do not look over the ocean

assuming that you would sink

when life betrays you and throws you in

you will learn how to swim

Lovely rhythm, lovely imagery, lovely content ... a lovely poem indeed. :) I completely forgot the name of the figure of speech (enumeration, maybe?) but I just love the effect you produced by constantly giving “more than one “item/adjective/situation” (salt-sharks, vast-harsh, lifeboat-floating device, betrays you-throws you in), it conveys a sense of intensity to the message, as I see it :)
