Very true! I'm in that same boat with you in that regard. I think children should know how to say no. True, this could mean they'll be more defiant, but I'd rather have a child who could temporarily be more defiant towards me than a child who doesn't know when to refuse something that could be bad for him/her. Well said!

A nice teaching tool to learn early. When they grow into their teenage years, you're going to hear that word too much
