Widow

Widow

A Poem by Initium
"

Even if I don't believe, keep your word.

"
A widow cannot stand tall,
As I do not know all,
but a widow can stand tall
Once another brings out the glitter in her eyes.
Though she may try as hard as her might,
She can never find true power without
Love in new flesh and blood,
but once the flesh and blood once more perishes,
She must find another to fill that void.
Divorce is not a problem,
Unless she finds the true meaning of,
'Til' death do us part.'
She may call herself a widow to cheat her faith,
but I know the truth.
I always do.
Because a widow cannot stand tall,
As I do know all.

You know, you have a mysterious way with poems. And it's starting to creep me out. I am not a poetic person, nor will I ever be. But you have this...smooth sensation with poetry. You rock! But I'll stick with stories.
