Maybe he's someone else inside.

Have you ever bothered to ask?

Maybe he feels the need to hide.

Why haven't you helped him?

Maybe it really is you to blame.

He never revealed that, did he?

Maybe you should be put to shame.

It's your fault he's leaving.

Maybe he'll survive it all,

but I know he hopes he doesn't.

Maybe he'll be placed behind a cushioned wall,

but for his sake. Never yours.
