on the dock

on the dock

A Poem by Yheela

he's laughing

I let the sound fill me

blocking out everything else

my tongue moistens my lips

a taste of wild strawberries

we sit side by side

his warmth flowing into me

long blonde hair flutters in the wind

in front of his face

he laughs

my lips want to quiet him
