ALL KINDS OF AGONY

ALL KINDS OF AGONY

A Poem by Linda Adkins Chandanais
"

This is about how time will bring change to todays bigotry as it has in the past with women's write to vote, marrying outside your religion, minorities powerful positions ...

"
ALL KINDS OF AGONY
There's all kinds of agony and all kinds of sorrow
There's all kinds of bigotry from yester till tomorrow
But there's all kinds of happiness and joy along the way
A child's laugh,  a mothers praise , A breeze upon your face

Time is changes mistress although she's  often slow
And fear is Changes  enemy no matter where she goes
Some times a battle must be fought
Sometimes  Change dances in
Sometimes she demands her due
Sometimes she lets fear win
For battles lost may slow Change down but  she  will always be.
And where there's bigotry and hate

Wait
for Change to be

For the wind of change might be slow, it takes just one howling wind to make it's blow and change the world we forever know. I live in a country where women for countless of years have been treated as secondary. No more, we have had a Lady President, and Women are respected as equals now more than ever. Being raised in a family surrounded by women, I can truly say, there is no smarter, more magnificently beautiful of a being than a woman. Cheers to diversity, to independent women all around the world and to this greatly penned poem. Great job.
