Dia de los Muertos

Just a little something that popped into my head while listening to "Day of the Dead" by Hollywood Undead.

I am wandering this world.

Never truly sure where I am heading.

Maybe I am just guiding my way to the grave.

If this is so then my life is just on big day of the dead.

Soy perdido en un mundo de lápidas sepulcrales,

Agarrado en una neblina de gris.

El mundo sólo un medio con un final.

¿Es esto cómo se supone que es?

If this is the day of the dead,

Shouldn’t this be a party?

Don’t I need to play hard,

And have no care in the world.

Este día de los muertos parece triste sin embargo.
Quiero salir de fiesta , pero no puedo encontrar el esfuerzo para hacerlo .
¿Soy extraño?
¿Estoy perdiendo el punto acerca de la vida?

Maybe I have listened to the echoing silence far too long

I just might have my color saturation too low,

Or maybe I have gotten lost in my insanity.

Either way I need to make this life a party like no other.

Esta vida es un gran día de los muertos.
Así que vamos a la fiesta hasta la tumba.

It has been awhile since I have posted something on here I do hope you will read and comment. I do apologize if I didn't use the proper translation, but it has been over a year since my Spanish class. :3

I went to one day of the dead in Mexico. Even odd for a wild man like me.
"Esta vida es un gran día de los muertos.
Así que vamos a la fiesta hasta la tumba."
I believe everyone should learn of other beliefs. I enjoyed the poem. You took me with on a good journey. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
