"Rapture me"

Poem #37. Uploaded Monday November 29, 7:00 PM.

"
Rapture me
The waters are up to my throat
I sink into the mud
Filthy floods of the moat
Engulf me, surround me
And I cannot call for aid
My eyes grow black
My skin becomes decayed
Those who despise me
Oppose me for no gain
Outnumber the hairs of my head
Outnumber the depth of my pain
What I did not steal
I am forced to return
In this land of deceit
I am forever spurned
I am the song of the drunkards
The words of the cheat
And I worship you, sorrow
Rapture me

Interesting, drowning in despair and seeking the sorrow to rapture you. This is well written and seemingly beyond your years...very, very good.

I agree with Linear, fantastic lines.
