Love IS A Beautiful Thing

Love IS A Beautiful Thing

A Poem by zee
"

love is real and yours to find look for it but don't be blind

"

What is love? Pierces my thoughts like a chime

I've pondered this question many times

Love is not the enduring agony of verbal assaults

Hitting you over and over increasing your faults.

Love is the gentle caress of of a word spoken tenderly

Sounds such as baby and honey, spoken sweetly

Love is not the trapping pain of a physical wound

Believing you to feel useless and withered as a prune

Love is the soft touch of summer's ripe peaches

Warming your soul like tropical beaches

Love is a feeling to hold on to

An emotion that goes through you

Love IS a beautiful thing

Love makes you want to laugh, dance and sing

Love is something everyone should feel

And when it feels amazing then you know it's real

This was a thought that formed into my mind this morning, though it took a while to come into writing. For some reason it was hard for me to get this out. Maybe because I'm not actually in love or feeling loved by a special someone...

This is great, but I really think that you should have put it in prose instead of verse. Maybe you would like to turn it into a spoken-word :D! Than it would be better.
