Body, Mind, and Soul

Body, Mind, and Soul

A Poem by Zeuxis
"

A short poem consisting of loosely formed ideas.

"

Our bodies but a prison

Our minds the one key

Our eyes may give us vision

But our soul must flee

With terror we fight

With passion we gain flight

To leave the world behind

To see our pasts rewind

Everyone a little brighter

More so than any lighter

Or we're just a match

Burning til pitch black

Tiresome days

Sheltered away

Through minds at play

I shall make way to my grave
