"Dreamer's Requiem"

"Dreamer's Requiem"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"Dreamer's Requiem"

I used to dream,
When the clouds were as white as cream.
Then came a thunderstorm,
And my life took a wrong turn.

Now I sit here,
With such melancholy, oh dear!

The clouds turned pitch black,
And I couldn't go back.
I couldn't return to the sunshine,
Where the flowers were so divine.

I like this. It has a nice flow to it. It seems so calm and soft and it's just very relaxing. Wonderful and beautiful piece :)
