"True Love"

"True Love"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

"True Love"

Do you know true love?
Is it as pure as a dove?

Or does it have bumps on the road,
Like on the top of a toad?

Does it turn rotten,
When it is forgotten?

When somebody throws a fit,
Where is it?

Is it found in the deepest ocean?
Or is it found high in the space of devotion?
'
Does it require the truth,
Or does it need the pleasurable sweet tooth?

Does it come at first sight,
Or when there's a man at my window during the night?

Does it awaken a suffering soul,
Or does it bring another foul toll?

Can you teach me,
Or are you going to ignore me?

Zoe, first of all thank you or the writing link, but I am more than content here. I liked this poem. It moves nicely, has a playful feeling and great rhyming rhythm.
Fun write, fun read....!
