"Self-Murder"

"Self-Murder"

A Poem by Zoe Anne

“Self-Murder”

Sometimes I wish that I could just cut myself,

And let all the blood bleed from my heart.

Sometimes I wish I had claws,

And then I could tear my self-being apart.

I could end my life,

Memories of strife,

And the painful love,

That I wish I could just shove.

Sometimes I wish I had a gun,

Then I could shoot my brains out.

Sometimes I wish I could hang myself,

Then I could suffocate my doubt.

But then where would that get me?

Can someone tell me?

I almost feel ready,

To take it up with death and all of its pity.

I like to write a lot of horror, poetry, and lyrics. My inspirations are Edgar Allan Poe, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. I hope that someday my name will be next to theirs... more..
