Life

Life

A Poem by Zoe Kaufhold

He can only be fully described with one word... godly.
His eyes are icy and mischevious but filled with warmth and love.
His smirk screams the stereotypical bad boy but his kiss screams love lasting.
His jawline could cut marble with no trouble.
His hair is sexy beyond belief.

He is that guy in the magazine you drooled over at 13.
He is that guy you saw in the subway at 15 wishing you knew his name.
He is that guy that only that wild best friend can get.
He is that guy that nobody could get because nobody is on his level.

until I realized that I am...
I'm living the life I thought I never would.
I'm a model.
I'm going to school to be a nurse.
I'm getting wasted drunk at parties;
parties full of boys with coke under their noses,
parties full of boys whose eyes are redder than the devils,
parties full of girls missing a bra,
parties full of girls lying naked in the sheets,
parties full of girls passed out drunk in the bathroom.

I can go anywhere,
I can do anything I want to.
I'm a young success,
but I'm also a young disappointment.
