In the Rain

A poem about what my weather has been like

The rain is falling softly down

And coats the earth in a misty shroud

Every green in its shimmery sheen

Blending in to a beautiful scene

All the gods looking down

As their tears fall upon our ground

Why the gods cry, we’ll never know

But their tears make a magnificent show

Through the grey colors come

A rainbow shines over the sun

It warms the hearts of gods looking down

And their tears finally fade without a sound
