Poem Battle #5

This is how our worlds ends.

Z-So this is how our world ends,

   not with a whimper but a bang,

   a blast so big all matter blends,

   as the final trumpet rang,

 

K-Too loud to hear the screaming,

   but not to hear the sobs,

   and all your time spent dreaming,

   this apocalypse has robbed,

 

Z-Your beliefs will be tested,

   just hope that your not wrong,

   in heaven or hell you'll be nested,

   after earth's final tragic song,

 

K-When all regrets and sorrows die,

   what words are on your final sigh,

 

   ALTERNATE ENDING

 

K-Then the moment's come and passed,

   what a horrid burst of gas!
