A Poem by LoveAlways,Kali♥

My attempt at a humorous poem about Saskatchewan.

Forever you could roam

To some it's dull,

For me, it's home.

Open praries,

Many lakes,

If you're driving here,

Step on the brakes

Freezing winters

Five months at a time

If you want the sidewalk,

Prepare to climb.

Rain in summer

Sometimes warm

And it becomes glummer

Once there's a swarm

Moquitoes die

Only in cold

Put on the spray

You've been told

Fantastic poem!!! I love the rhythm and the rhyming. It makes the poem flow smoothly. This poem makes Saskatchewan feel so wild and beautiful. I hope I get to visit it someday! Great write!!

It's amazing how you combined the four seasons in one poem :)

Saskatchewan, Canada

Understand that when I write, I write for me and not for the purpose of pleasing others. Don't like something of mine? Please don't comment telling me so. However, creative critisism is always welcome.. more..
