Saskatchewan

My attempt at a humorous poem about Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan,

Forever you could roam

To some it's dull,

For me, it's home.

Open praries,

Many lakes,

If you're driving here,

Step on the brakes

Freezing winters

Five months at a time

If you want the sidewalk,

Prepare to climb.

Rain in summer

Sometimes warm

And it becomes glummer

Once there's a swarm

Moquitoes die

Only in cold

Put on the spray

You've been told
