Saskatchewan

A Poem by LoveAlways,Kali♥
"

My attempt at a humorous poem about Saskatchewan.

"

Saskatchewan,

Forever you could roam

To some it's dull,

For me, it's home.

Open praries,

Many lakes,

If you're driving here,

Step on the brakes

Freezing winters

Five months at a time

If you want the sidewalk,

Prepare to climb.

Rain in summer

Sometimes warm

And it becomes glummer

Once there's a swarm

Moquitoes die

Only in cold

Put on the spray

You've been told

Fantastic poem!!! I love the rhythm and the rhyming. It makes the poem flow smoothly. This poem makes Saskatchewan feel so wild and beautiful. I hope I get to visit it someday! Great write!!

It's amazing how you combined the four seasons in one poem :)
Great work! Loved the ending as well :)
