An Urgent Night-mare, Pt.3: The Messenger's Quest

An Urgent Night-mare, Pt.3: The Messenger's Quest

A Poem by A.r. Bazian

[An Urgent Night-mare, Pt.3: The Messenger's Quest]

"What Words to My Queen?" The Messenger Said.

the silence has finally been broken...

dream... to the whispers of the orchestra...

what ye' think you understand...

is but a fragment of what you dont!

walk away if you cant give a hand...

or give me reason why you won't!

for what i thought i am never to reach....

now i know... i understand!

all the doors i had to breach...

the walls built up so high...

only to keep me wondering what's beyond...

but only for you... soon... ye' shall see me cry!

i've been a king... i've been a clown...

but all my dreams melted...

as i went crumbling down...

for the truth we see lies in us...

lies in me...

truth,  shall set thee free...

for there's nothing behind those walls...

nothing but what ye' want there to be...

there's no truth...

no reality...

you choose your fate...

you make your destiny....

there's only one truth then...

she seemed so beautiful to me...

and has guided me well...

wake up swollen heart of mine...

and waver... to the echoes of my bell!

"I''ve been a king... i've been a clown..."

But still a mere human. I like the comparison here.

Your words are deep throughout this piece. To tell the truth would set free but why? There's no reason to tell the truth because fruition will not become of it.

"what ye' think you understand...is but a fragment of what you dont!" It is true, so true.
This is a beautiful piece and it makes me think of all I don't know and don't understand and makes me want to learn.

wow!
this is written so well. i really enjoy this one. all your talk of truth and choosing your own destiny really appeals to me. "for the truth we see lies in us...lies in me..." such strong words, such true words. well, true in my truth, that is.
