CAN BE CURED One has to see ups and downs at different points in
life. They can be cured, but cannot be avoided. The ones who are strong-minded,
free spirited, carefree take the challenge of countering the difficulties. But
there might be some who would become stressful. If stress is not taken into
consideration at an early stage, it leads to depression i.ea serious
medical condition in which a person feels very sad, hopeless, and unimportant
and often is unable to live in a normal way. Why do
people get depressed? There might be many reasons like- financial crisis, fear
of being lonely, fear of getting failed continuously, broken relationships. It
is the constant feeling of being numb. People try to reduce it by continuous
drinking, smoking, drugs. It is the overwhelming sense of numbness and desire
for anything that can help a person see the rising sun. There
have always been ambiguous views about being depressed and being sad. If a
person is sad, their mood can be refreshed within hours or in maximum a day.
But when a person goes into a depressed state, it might take them months.
Depression is a higher level of sadness, which can traumatise a person for a
long time. So how
do we cure depression? Firstly, it is very important to find out the reason
because of which a person is undergoing this problem. Sharing of thoughts with
people who are close to the depressed person might be a help for them as they
would be able to garner solutions. People who are maudlin should be handled
with excessive care as the only way that they would see to cure depression
would be to cry a lot. So the next step would be to give more attention to the
victims of depression. In this condition, people crave for attention and want
their closed ones to be with them, hold their hands, make them feel better by
giving them a shoulder. Thirdly, it is very important to instil in them the
confidence and get back their spirit by motivating them. Motivation can be in
the form of stories of people who have suffered from the same trauma, or
sessions from psychiatrists. And last, but not the least, depressed people
should be told that they are lucky to have been blessed with such a life. There
are many out there who crave for good things, happiness, but are kept away from
it. Remember that we only have one life and we should make the most out of it.
We should add life to days, do things that we love to, always try to find out
solutions to problems and be courageous to combat. Make yourself involved in
different activities, work out also helps in reducing depression. Train your
