Would You?

Would You?

A Poem by A.C. Lei

Would you care if Im gone?
Will you let yourself shed a tear
For a worthless person like me
Who in the shallow eyes
Hides in the consolation of a shadow
In the deepest darkest recesses
Of pain and desolation
In an abysmal apathy
Of reckless destruction
In a pool of doubt
Of scars
Would you shed a tear if I die?
Will you let yourself cry
Amongst the masses of loss
And remember the good side of me?
Would you hold me close
And promise you wont ever let me go
Even if I push you away
Would you come back again and again?
